Frame 26" CLEAN X1 | V5
CL0146
CLEAN X1 V5 trials frame model based on its predecessor CLEAN X1 V4. Several changes have been made to the fifth version of the frame. The frame is now designed for an integrated headset without pressed cups instead of the original semi-integrated headset with pressed cups! The frame also features a rear roller chain tensioner insert that can be easily replaced if needed. The new blue metallic finish blends beautifully with the red accessories that CLEAN manufactures. Of course, as with the previous, there are 4-bolt IDM brake mounts, which are now more integrated into the rear frame stay, similar to the CLEAN X3 frame. Frame is made for chain roller tensioner. Lightweight aluminium alloys have been used for the frame.

- tapered head tube for integrated 1-1/8" - 1.5" headset

- mounting for IDM rim brake 4-bolts
- IDM 4-bolt brake mounts are integrated more into the rear frame tubes
- brake mounts are seated in the frame tube to reduce stress and frame deflection during braking resulting in a firmer grip on the brake lever
- the frame is designed for standard bolt-on hub with 10mm axle (e.g. CLEAN X2 hubs)
- small horseshoe integrated in the rear frame structure for increased strength
- the frame is equipped with small grips for the rear brake hose line
- the frame has vertical dropouts which, combined with the roller chain tensioner, ensures that the rear wheel is always in the ideal position against the rim brake
- the frame is designed for a 68mm BSA bottom bracket with a standard 1.37 "x24tpi thread
